FCC’s Adventure Week

We will start the summer with First Christian Church’s annual Adventure Week! This is a FREE camp that will be available June 6th – 9th, 9:00am – 12:30pm. The theme for this year’s Adventure Week is “Space Explorers”. Registration is hosted by FCC and can be found here. Please contact Shannon Teague with any questions.

First Steps’ Summer Camp

First Steps Preschool will host 7 weeks of summer camp! Each week will have a different theme with LOTS of fun each day. Your child will have an amazing experience. All campers will receive a t-shirt. Summer Camp is for children ages 3 – 12.

Part-time is 9:00am to 12:00pm OR 1:00pm to 4:00pm and the cost is $75 per week.

Full-time is 9:00am to 4:00pm and the cost is $150 per week. Full-time campers will be required to bring a lunch.

Payment is due before camp begins.  We will send out an invoice.  You will be able to pay by credit, debit, ACH, or Apple Pay.  You can also bring in cash or a check to pay. If you have any questions about camp, please contact the preschool office at 937-965-7929.

Camp Themes

June 13th – 17th American Ninja & Sports Camp – Kids will challenge their bodies on the American Ninja course. The kids will also learn basic skills of baseball, basketball, and soccer.

June 20th – 24th Outdoor Camp – Kids will learn skills like how to read a compass, tie a knot, make a campfire, and more!

June 27th – July 1st Soccer Camp – Kids will learn about soccer skills. All levels of players are welcome.

July 5th – 8th Dance/Drama Camp – Kids of all skills can join us for a week of moving their bodies to music and learn that no part is too small. Your child will love playing, dancing, and acting in our camp. The musical number we have chosen is “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Disney’s Encanto. There will be a Performing Arts Day held on July 15th for parents to see the kids perform.

July 11th – 15th Art Camp – Kids will be working with all the different medias of art. Clay, painting, drawing, watercolors, and more. There will be a Performing Arts Day held on July 15 for parents to view the kids’ art.

July 18th – 22nd Cooking Camp – Kids will learn basic kitchen safety skills. Kids will cook and bake yummy foods. At the end of the week, the kids will do a team cook-off to practice the skills they learned during the week.

July 25th – 29th Science Camp – Your child will have a BLAST at our camp. Bottle rockets, flying objects, and slime.

Daily Schedule

9:00am – Drop Off

9:30am – Small Group Rotation: music, games, crafts, and theme skills

12:00pm – Part-time Pick-up / Lunch

1:00pm – Small Group Rotation: theme skills

3:00pm – Quiet Time / Snack

4:00pm – Full-time Pick-up
